We grow by word of mouth, on purpose. The platform gets better with every neighborhood that uses it and every neighbor who brings another.
Try it in your neighborhood
The apps are live on both stores and on the web. Browse without an account; create one in under a minute when you want to book or list.
Free for neighbors who book; providers pay a capped 5% commission on completed work.
Pay in the app; the provider is paid when the work is marked complete.
Block anyone, report anything, delete your account from Settings.
Bring it to a neighborhood
Neighborhoods on Vicinity World have real boundaries, human-approved membership and a member-only board. The person who starts one becomes its admin.
Draw the boundary on the map and invite neighbors by handle or link.
Approve or decline join requests; promote other admins.
We help with the first steps — introductions, a walkthrough, printed material for a meeting.
Builders
The platform and its apps are built on a small, in-house framework. We are not running a contributor program yet; if the way we build interests you, read about the framework and write to us.
